Sources, Verification & Confidence

gag2.online labels important GAG2 claims by source family, claim status, confidence, and last checked date. These labels are loaded from local structured data instead of page-only prose. For full data tables, some factual gameplay data is referenced from the community-maintained Grow a Garden Wiki on Fandom via its public MediaWiki API under CC-BY-SA.

Fandom/wiki-derived rows are transformed into calculators, filters, and quick lookup tables with source links. gag2.online is fan-made and is not affiliated with Roblox, Fandom, or the Grow a Garden developers.

Source inventory

Roblox public API boundary ledger

gag2.online now keeps a separate low-frequency Roblox public data sync. It uses no API key, OAuth token, cookie, password, or private account data.

Roblox public APIs can support public game identity, public counters, public badge themes, and public thumbnails at a checked time. They do not confirm live stock, code validity, hidden mechanics, exact values, odds, mutation multipliers, private analytics, revenue, or endorsement.

Use only when a concrete in-game test record exists with tester/run, date, action, observed result, affected item or route, and remaining limitation.

Verified means gag2.online observed the exact result at the checked time. It does not guarantee future validity or official status.

Public source confirmed

Use only for the exact public/platform/official/manual-test claim recorded in the evidence ledger.

Public-source confirmation does not transfer to hidden mechanics, exact values, stock timers, multipliers, or gag2.online affiliation.

Community reported

Use for player, community, or third-party leads that still need direct verification before stronger labels.

Community reports are useful leads, not proof of active codes, official values, live stock, or confirmed multipliers.

Estimated

Use for formula/manual estimates and conflict-aware placeholders when exact official or tested values are unavailable.

Estimates are for planning only and must stay visibly separate from confirmed source facts.

Needs verification

Use when a row documents a boundary, conflict, placeholder, or checked-source absence without proving the underlying game fact.

Needs verification prevents placeholders and absence boundaries from being presented as confirmed facts.

Confidence labels

High confidence

The exact visible claim is supported by a public/platform source, official source, or documented gag2.online in-game test.

High confidence applies only to the scoped claim; it must not be expanded into hidden mechanics, exact values, timers, or future availability.

Medium confidence

The claim has a plausible supporting source or method, but the page must keep visible limitations and avoid stronger wording.

Medium confidence is not a guarantee and is not enough for exact value, live stock, or guaranteed code language.

Low confidence

The claim is a community or third-party lead that can guide testing but cannot be treated as confirmed.

Low-confidence claims cannot be labeled Active, Verified, official, exact, guaranteed, or real-time.

Unknown confidence

The current source set does not support the claim strongly enough to assign confidence beyond unknown.

Unknown confidence is a boundary label. It keeps placeholders, absence notes, and unverified estimates from becoming confirmed facts.

A GAG2 code is only labeled Verified by gag2.online when there is a documented in-game redemption test with a date, action tested, observed result, and remaining limitation.

Can competitor references confirm a GAG2 fact?

No. Competitor references are used only for conflict awareness and future testing leads. They cannot confirm active codes, exact values, live stock, or mutation multipliers by themselves.

When does a code become verified by gag2.online?

A code becomes verified only after gag2.online has a documented in-game redemption test for that exact code. Community or third-party reports are leads, not proof.

Can a public Roblox page confirm values or multipliers?

Only if the exact value or multiplier is visible in that public source. Current public-page and badge evidence supports public mechanics and badge themes, not exact hidden values or mutation multipliers.

How do I report a correction?
